I love this because how beautiful it is, the many textures (that glittered/swirled paper is adorable!), but what really inspired me was the whole idea behind the layout. On some Saturday mornings, my cousin and I love to go to breakfast at Denny's, then hit the antique stores, garage sales, check the paper for fresh food markets, etc. and I never even thought of taking a picture of us doing that. What a great idea to capture us (as we affectionately call it) "getting into trouble". Thanks for the inspiration and I love how honoring this is to your Mother.
What inspired me in this layout were the different layers of papers so I used 6 different layers here…3 patterned papers, glittered border, glittered transparency, & Cameo cut file from white cardstock. I was also inspired by the sewing, so I broke out my sewing machine and tried my hand at stitching all the edges again. I don't normally stitch on my layouts, but this inspired me to try it again and I did it on another layout too with a more contrasting thread than this one.I also found inspiration in the two vertical pictures. I made my blocks bigger, but what I did was instead of a picture on the left, I used my cut file and the right picture is a collage I created in Photoshop and printed as one image.
