I just wanted to share some night pictures that I've taken. Halloween and Christmas are the perfect time to turn off your flash and capture the true ambience. I find that an ISO of 1,600 works best, but you can let your camera automatically select the ISO. Of course, a tripod is a necessity, but not always practical. So I often rest my camera securely on a ledge or something stable as I take the picture so that the camera doesn't move.
