This LO caught my eye as I was browsing through the gallery. I know the sentiments you nailed so well in your journaling as I am registered nurse. Sometimes it's hard to understand why we chose this profession especially after a 12 hour shift can turn into 16 and you feel like you have nothing more to give of yourself. Just looking into the eyes of an elderly person you have taken the extra few minutes you didn't have makes it all worth it when you see that smile reflect in their eyes. I have been in many of the situations you have described and would I change who and what I am today. The answer is no.
from Oma: your journaling was one of the best I've read - you captured it all! I'm so proud to call you daughter - don't ever think all your accomplishments go unnoticed! I love you, DIL!
As someone whose daughter has been the recipient of love and care of many nurses in her 2 and a half years, YOU REALLY NAILED IT!! You all are such angels of mercy. . . and on behalf of us parents, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
This is a beautiful layout, by the way!
I like to say I have two jobs I am a full time mommy and part time nurse. As a nurse I deal with heart ache and joy on a daily basis. The LO is just a bit of journaling about my life as a nurse.
