Hoping that this one goes through. :)After years of never truly having a space of my own, Paul surprised me last Saturday with my own room (he did the decorating, too! :D). Photo #1:As you first come in…to your leftPhoto #2:My view (hey, I get a bit of the Pacific Ocean, from military housing, no less, now that is huge! LOL!)Photo #3:Corner of my roomPhoto #4:Where I put my alterables…we got this for free(the cabinet), and it was butt ugly. Paul sanded it down, repainted, then sanded at bits and pieces, to make it look vintage just for me, seriously, you just have to love this man.(I am going to put paper on the glass, and have it say something, eventually)Photo #5:Where my paper is stored (got that cabinet at the Salvation Army for $15)Photo #6:Probably my most expensive organizational things in my room. I bought them at Target last year when they were having a sale on them, right after we got our taxes back. Paul is the one who encouraged it (I do believe the words out of his mouth were, ‘I am tired of looking at all the crap just being out, get something that looks nice, puhlease!’).Photo #7:The right hand side of my room.Photo #8:These are shelves that come three in a box (big, medium, small in one box) that we got on sale at Home Depot for $9. They were orignally used for other things downstairs, but Paul wanted them up here, so here they be.Photo #9:My desk top (got my desk at Salvation Army for $15). Paul organized the whole desk top….and kept my wood mounted stamps out so that way I would use them…I do believe he is telling me something…Photo #10:My little Prima addiction…granted it is not nearly as bad as a lot of people, but for someone who only had boys for a long time…that's a lot of flowers…rofl! Just an FYI, they were not all bought at once,Paul would have killed me!Photo #11:My Scraps basket, letter stickers basket, and my cardstock i like to use a ton of basket, all housed in my closet. We took the doors off of it to give me more space.Photo #12:My 7 Gypsies stamps. Paul put them out for me to see (seriously, I think he is telling me to use them up ;) ).Photo #13:Um, this would be my love affection for journaling tags…yeah…a bit of an addiction, maybe?Photo #14:Ok, I gotta tell you, I got this basket at Goodwill for $3! Hello, come to mama baby! LOL! It houses some of my mini books that I would like to work on!Photo #15:This is the last photo, but one of my favorite things in my room. I found this colandar at the Goodwill here in Hawaii, for $2!!!!! Yeah…in love I am! I put stuff in here that I have just bought (maybe not like just just, but you get the drift) and want to use right away.So that's it, my room, my little place for me to escape and create when Caitlynn is napping, the boys are at school, and Paul is at work. :D
