I saw a scrapbook page on another web site that I just thought was wonderful. I think it was from a kit. Now I really have not been into scraplifting and usually if I do scraplift something by the time I am done you cannot hardly see the parent scrap page in my version.

Mindy Ayred did a scrapbook page called Love at First sight that I just love. So I decided to scraplift it as exactly as possible. Since I did not have the same kind of picture I found one probably as significant to me. I changed it to a black and white and grabbed a set of papers that would work, A matched floral, strip and two solids. And set out on my grand adventure.

Since I don't have the kit, I really had to recreate every element I could. I started with Sizzix tags for the cards snipped the end off and printed the letters I wanted in Tribachet font. I used verseramark ink to edge them in leau of the black line (no black pen I wonder who stold it)
I printed My daughter's name of the first card in light orange. The black clip is a 7 gypsies. I used a MM photo corner for my arrow. The "on the Go" is printed on twille tape and run through a xyron. As was Beautiful. I did not have an appropriate pair of flowers so i used MM metal ones to tie in with the arrow. I also used an MM heart in a matching metal.

My children love the hidden journaling the tag says, side one. "Quinn, Your are getting so big. Every time you go to the airport I am reminded how you are growing and learning to fly on your own!" Side Two "Haow you love to get new clothes. You are such a girlie girl. This picture was taken about 3:45 am! Look how awake and beautiful you are happy to get on the plane and see daddy"

Thank you
Nicole
