I saw the podcast about F.R.E.D. a vertical working space for scrapbooking. Loved it but when I told DH I wanted it - he said not right now. As you know I have health issues with my back and neck so I figured this would be something I had to have. Anyway it got me thinking and looking around the house to see what I already had on hand and to my amazement I already had ALL THE STUFF to make it happen! My kitty “MILES” is being the Vanna White of scrapbooking modeling my treasure….. I used a black metal cookbook holder (I checked at Target and price is $13) and had a 16x16 magnetic dry erase board with a couple magnets (Target also sells for about $8) and snagged some extra magnets at Staples for $0.99. It works for me and only spent $1.05 because I already had the other stuff…. I'm sure you could find a cookbook holder cheaper at Goodwill, yardsales, Family Dollar, etc and the dry erase boards always go on sale…. but that size is hard to find so it might be worth the $8 at T's since we're always there anyway…. TFL
