Hee hee hee...i loved how this turned out... I love my son's smile right now...his teeth are few and far between and crowded in all sorts of ways...but his smile sure brightens my day!!!
Journaling Reads:Austin has my teeth for sure. What a lucky Little boy. At age eight we went to the orthodontist Only to find that he had extra permanent teeth Lying sideways in his upper jaw right in the front. I realized there may be a problem when his baby Teeth were slow to come out. Then the bad news Came with the x-rays… 2 extra teeth under his gums Blocking the new ones from coming in and the baby ones from falling out. Austin had to have major surgery to Remove all his front baby teeth and to remove the “extras”. Altogether, Nine teeth were extracted! After the surgery, I felt like the most horrible mom In the world, he had no front teeth what-so-ever, and Stitches all across the front as well. He thought he looked Like a zombie! And he did a little! I cried for over a Day at what I had done to my baby! Austin didn’t seem To have a problem though. He was out showing off to his friends The next day! He now has new teeth coming In and he is smiling from ear to ear! It taught me a great lesson though… I think as adults we worry so much about our looks. Austin taught me that it is not how many teeth you have, Or your looks, it’s all about your attitude!
