I don't know what the name for these really is! Anyhow, I made mine 4“ square and these are the directions for that size.
Take a piece of cardstock 10.5”x4“, score at 1/2”, 1“, 1.5”, 5.5“, 6” and 6.5“.
Fold score lines concertina style so the card folds over itself (see photo).
Cut aperture centrally in front of card (at this point I also embossed the front with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and added a scalloped frame to the circle aperture).
Stick the loose edge to the inside back edge of the card.
Cut a piece of patterned paper and a piece of acetate each just a smidgen short of 4”x4" so that they fit into the folded card.
Decorate each of the three layers (back, acetate and front).
I found it easier to glue the paper and acetate into position first, which I did by applying double sided tape to the four edges of the patterned paper and side only edges of the acetate. Attach the patterned paper to the back and the acetate to the folded inner section.
Say it with flowers challenge - Imaginesce patterned paper, Hero Arts flower and sentiment stamps.
Tra-digi challenge - the label I stamped the sentiment onto is a 2ps digital freebie called oval labels. I recoloured and cropped so I only printed the one I needed out rather than the full sheet.

Having watched a craft show on TV tonight I discovered that you can watercolour with Sakura stardust pens. Who knew? Anyhow that's what I did with my images here. Stamped and heat embossed with black embossing powder first to stop any ‘bleeding’. Love this effect, it is so shimmery!
