I was part of Creative Therapy blog and the catalyst was to create art around someone you wish you had a better relationship with. Before I can do anything with my mom or my sisters or anyone else, I decided I need to focus on me. Being a mom at first takes away from being you for a while… my girls are just now finally old enough an independent enough that I can look in the mirror and redefine what it means to be me.
