This is for Jan's challenge, to makeover a container to keep some of our craft supplies in.I used a Baking Powder tin (Photo 3) to create a place to store my ‘Ink Applicator’ felts and the used sponges I use to ink projects sometimes (such as for April's Summer Coat challenge). It was the perfect size, and cleaned up well.I wanted to use the felts in some way to decorate the tin, so after cutting a strip of copy paper to the right size, I used ‘Antique Linen’ Distress Ink with the felt and applicator to cover the paper. Then I used second generation ‘Walnut Stain’ to stamp a Kaszass script stamp all over that.I used black Memento and individual letter stamps to spell out ‘felts & sponges’ and then stamped some small Stampin' Up flowers in Versacolor ‘Opera Pink’.I then stuck this to the tin with double-sided tape, and trimmed it with pink ribbon, also using double-sided tape. Finally I added some tiny pearls to the centres of the flowers.I'm very happy with my new storage tin!
