These pictures are from my youngest daughter's first birthday this past February. This is the second two page layout, the first showed her at the indoor playground, and then these show us taking her out for lunch at our local Mexican restaurant, El Sombrero.I got my idea for the simple title from the translated name, and because of the sweet pictures of her in the party hat they have there. We eat at this place about once a week, so I cleverly hid part of the ticket card which read Grandma's Kitchen to just show, “Ma's Kitchen.” Growing up we joked that the best food my mom cooked came in a take out box- and that's what I'd prefer myself! On the opposite page I cut out and reassembled the phrases on a Jillibean soup cut apart sheet. The little prince and princesses all have wands made from the red banner sticker on the top right of the left page which read, Celebrate One Thing Everyday. I cut it down to read, “Celebrate One day,” and then cut it down further for the red wands and the Every Thing words. This was a whimsical two page spread and I love that her dad helped me choose the photos.
