It has been eight years now since my best friend lost her son in a car accident… her son and I had known each other since the eight grade, and even lived together for a little over a year in a little trailer with some other friends. He had always encouraged us to spend time with one another, and I always enjoyed our little trips to the craft store and taking art classes with her. When he passed away, his circle of family, friends and acquaintances were devastated- as most of us tend to be when one loses their life so young, he was only 24 or 25. Having lived with him so long, we went on countless picture taking opportunity filled excursions, and I have, over the years, tended to pass on these treasures as I come across them, as I know those souvenirs of the past become invaluable as time passes, but this film strip of the two of us at the Puyallup Fair was still floating around, waiting for something special. The other day I was startled awake by a VISION which was created as soon as my husband walked out of the house! You can read all about how I created this page, printing on the die cuts and my feaux stitching techniques, on my blog post for February 1st. Thanks for reading!
