I have been working on doing Geneology for my Family and have just finished my 4th Heritage book. During my research I have learned to be quite adept at researching geneology and have copies of Census reports with my family, copies of newspapers and business ads from the towns and timeperiods that my ancesters lived there (to use on pages as backgrounds..etc..), draft cards, Ellis Island ship registers, etc…I have all the info to do my Ancesters “Immigration” pages but I didn't have pictures. So after my Husband got back from Iraq (navy pilot) after living in a tent for 6 months, we decided to go somewhere with out the kids and away from the sand! We had an offer from my Dad for an all expense paid cruise but I really wanted to go to NYC to try and research some more and to go to Ellis Island and take pictures from the viewpoint my relatives would have seen when they came to this country. Being the awesome husband he is, we turned down the cruise and headed to NYC. I took these pics in Sepia tones and would love to share them with anyone who would like to have them to use for thier layouts. Just let me know if you would like them and if you need any help or tips researching your family!! Katie Watson
