This piece is so very visually fascinating- the purple is striking and grounds the page nicely, and the butterflies add n incredible feeling of lightness and movement. The sentiment is so romantic!! You never cease to amaze me.

Butterflies

For the August No Shopping Challenge - Assignment was to create a LO using only white paper, pens or colored pencils, a single photo, cutting tools, and adhesive. I used color pencils by crayola for the purple stripes, a zig pen and sharpie for the flight patterns and marvy markers for tracing and coloring the butterflies.

journaling reads: we've been together for 12 years...he still has the ability to give me butterflies.

I think I should have added a third purple stripe on the left side, but I had already written the title and didn't want to start over. I used 12 butterflies, 1 for each year togehter.
