Here's my tag for this month's tag swap. Our theme was birds, requirement stencils. I started out by cutting a tag base from watercolor paper. I used painters tape to hold down my stencil. Using distress markers I colored in the areas lightly and used a water brush for some shading. There is always a stamping requirement on the tags so once dry, I stamped a flourish/floral stamp onto the tag with Colorbox chestnut roan chalk ink. I also stamped my sentiment with the same ink onto kraft paper. For my bird image, I used a bird from an old calendar I had saved. It's a watercolor calendar and the images are just too pretty to throw out!I did add a circle/heart diecut to it's wing. Added a diecut butterfly and some fibers to the top of the tag. Supplies used-Mister Huey's elongated hexagons maskDistress markers- squeezed lemonade, shaded lilac, picked raspberries, peacock feathers and vintage photo.Sentiment stamp- Tim Holtz diecuts- ?I have no idea, I think maybe K & Co?fibersTFL :)
