I had way too much fun with this one! I made 4 cards from the experimenting I did.The first card- BG stamp is from Stampabilities(quatrefoil)I inked it with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberries, Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn and Spiced Marmalade. Spritzed it with water, stamped onto watercolor paper and let dry. It has a bit of smudges to it but I don't mind them. I stamped the solid butterfly(from Target years ago in the dollar bin) in Black stazon ink and applied stickles in black diamond over the entire surface. Once dry, I created a mask for it and stamped another butterfly image(RAK from Looser) and colored them in with promarkers and bic markers. I added them lime green mat to the magenta card base. Added a few dots of the black diamond stickles. Sentiment, stamped on same lime cs is from Hero Arts(everyday sayings, I think!)Card 2- card base is a white base that I adhered pp too. Stripes is from Basic Grey, offbeat collection. Blue floral is from MME, and the brown weave paper is from Basic Grey fact line. I stamped my butterfly image(inkadinkado insect amalgam, spritzed with water and inked with distress inks barn door and peacock feathers onto watercolor paperCard 3- Stamped my image(TPC studios, unable to find the name of it, it was a set I got at a yard sale. I stamped the image with spiced marmalade, peacock feathers and peeled paint ditress inks, spritzed with water, stamped onto watercolor and let dry. I tried this one 3 times and this was the best result I got. There's still a bit of green that ran over onto the palm trees. I added that to a Kraft card base with some PP from Basic Grey(fact line) to the background. Sentiment is stamped with Archival ink in coffee. Card 4- BG stamp is from Hero Arts(name unknown, another yard sale find!) I stamped it with distress inks in picked raspberries and vintage photo. Spritzed stamp with water and stamped onto watercolor paper. Let dry and adhered to yellow card base. I added a small stamped image that I embossed with white embossing powder onto watercolor paper(stampendous poppy scene)and colored with distress markers in walnut stain, spun sugar, mustard seed, and worn lipstick. Adhered that to the card front. These were so fun to make, TFL :)
