Well, this layout doesn't use the new technique I've been wanting to try from Scrap Simple by Hillary Heidelberg, but it was inspired by a layout in the book. The layout is Apple by Celeste Smith. The journaling reads: Grandma included this picture in my Mother's Day card. The picture and Grandma's explanation made me laugh. Grandma went to the Senior Center on April Fool's Day 2008 dressed as “Tom Pete with a Treat”, using her pail ans shovel to hand out jelly beans. I guess I've never really thought of my grandma as a funny person, at least until now. Apparently I still have things to learn about Grandma before she's gone.
