This has always been one of my favorite pictures of Brandon.
For some reason my scanner scanned each side different sizes(it does that now and then), and I resized them to stitch but they still did not line up quite right. So some of the letters look they are shadowed but they actually aren't. Also my bg cardstock is a dark maroon color and it looks almost black in the scan. I guess you get the general idea of the lo though.
For the words on the mat I used the transparency transfer trick (I think it was Jeanne who called them "bootlegged rubons", lol)
It worked great. Also used that technique for the tag and the name and date.
On the tag I used a stencil I have and traced it onto the back of the tag and then cut it out and covered the "hole" with vellum. Hard to tell in the scan I know. I used the same stencil and ink around the mat.
The quote on the tag says:
"We do not remember days,
we remeber moments."
Also I generally do more extensive journaling on the back of my layouts. I guess it seems like I just don't journal, but I do honest!
