This technique of stamping white inked solid images on black paper and painting a color over top has been on my to do list for a while…so that was my beginning thought along with wanting to use a border stencils to build a frame.I stamped the bird, branch, stars and sentiment and bottom fan border all in Colorbox Frost White Ink. Colored all but the bottom border with Derwent Intense water-soluble ink pencils. I masked several leaves prior to inking in the borders. Outlines where created with a Faber-Castell PITT WHITE ARTIST PEN. I used the MINI PATTERN STRIPS stencil by Julie Fei Fan Balzer to create the sides of the frame. On the left side of the frame I used Viva Décor’s yummy thick INKA GOLD.The top and right side borders are inked with ColorBox chalk inks.Congratulations Anne on your new design team position! Do know I purchased the products in CAPS from Artistcellar and am enjoying them. Thanks for your blog tips!
