Sorry to miss so much of the fun of WSW12 but nothing like a terrific technique challenge to pull me away from other essential work :-) I love this cling wrap challenge! For my first round of papers I enjoyed using dampened watercolor paper with Yasutomo pearlescent watercolor paints and then tried distress stains. The distress satins colors blended so much that the crinkle results are far more subtle. I had fun layering stamped leaf images in the background and accenting the crinkle leaf result in the bottom left corner. I stamped the Jenni Bowlin butterfly on acetate and colored with sharpies on the back then brushed a layer of white opal liquid pearls. I rubbed the back with some dry embossing tools to achieve some dimension.
