Just a layout about leaving Alaska and things that will be missed! I used lots of touristy stuff like wood die cuts, stickers and postcards! Thanks for looking! The journaling reads like this:Alaska was a dream assignment for us. After Tokyo we relished the cooler weather, the cleaner air and also the availability of more choices around us. We have enjoyed seeing moose, mountains, glaciers, stunning scenery, experienced camping and snow stuff that we haven’t been able to do anywhere else! Our children think of it as home as their first school experience has been there with first proper friendships.Alas though, all good things must come to an end, and as Troy retired from the Air Force he applied around for job opportunities. Boeing seemed to be desirable and 3 different job openings became open to us. Two in the Seattle WA area and one in the St Louis MO area. We felt prompted strongly to choose the St Louis position and the rest is history! So with excited yet also heavy hearts we packed and left Anchorage Alaska on June 1oth 2005. With 2 children, 1 dog, one cat and 2 goldfish we got on a flight to take us to our next assignment: stability and a home of our own. Here we were heading towards real life in the civilian world. Here was the beginning of the rest of our lives. Goodbye Alaska, hello Missouri!
