I made this flagbook for my dear friend Jen (jkduncan58) for her recent birthday *Happy Birthday Jen!* I used the same dimensions from a flagbook class at work.#1 is the cover: used Chatterbox and 2nd Ave (MME)pp's; stitched those to cs; mayarts ribbon; MM eyelet words; MM Poolside jigsaw alpha letters that I painted w/acrylic; some colored twill closes it and i added MM washer words at the end of each tie; clear button stamped with stazon; for the flags #2-9 i used all kinds of stuff: punches,QK,deco scissors, brads, ribbons, tags. There are three rows of tags: the first row across, on the backside i spelled out Happy (and printed out Happy on the cs); on the 2nd two rows i spelled out Birthday and Jennifer (and printed out those words on the backs of those rows of flags). Oh and all those little squared letters - the bg's on each of those was stamped with various stamps. The first letters in the squares are QK (H, B, J) and the rest of the letters are stamped with POD Garamouche. The last page- the inner back cover has a little jolees Happy Bday tiara with Girl (stamped in paint w/foam MM stamps). That piece opens up - where i wrote a message to Jen. And the picture? thats me on the left (eek) and the gorgeous jkduncan58 looking totally surprised HA! - i believe DH took that photo of us (sorry Christa i cropped you out this time) when she came to VA to visit back in September with the ever lovely ScrappinChrista.
