Continuing on here:Carolyn's (cs_in_ks) is next #14-19. i did two entries in her Carpe Diem CJ. I played with my MM foam stamps and a quote from Dead Poets Society - 14&15 are what you see when you look at the pages and #16 shows the tile opened up to make it “extra” ordinary in #17; then i did a two page spread - #18-19 with a quote i thought applicable and a dedication to my brother (pictured as a small boy in #19) who taught me to seize the day.Jen's is next (jkduncan58) with her theme being Friends are flowers in the Garden of Life - #20 and 21. I got #20 from Jen - the two pages together as my computer ate my scan of one of the pages but i am posting #21 so you can see it a little closer. I basically couldn't decide between the Goethe quote and a favorite song of mine by Elton John and Bernie Taupin - Friends so i used ‘em both! the Goethe quote on a transparency and i stamped the Taupin’s words - a few selected lines of that song. Then i had a field day with silk flowers, beads some bug eyelets and glass flowers - Jen's had some requirements for staying in a color scheme and using some of her fabrics ribbons flowers… i think i did ok and it was not my usual thing and i loved every minute of arranging all those flowers :-)Kelly's (freckledcutie) is next - i also had fun with this one. did one spread on me as Theresa Anne #22 & 23 and how i got the nickname Tracy. then 24, 25, & 26 are the next 2page spread with the contents of the pocket on 24 in #26. The ba ba ba ba ba all over the circles on 25 is referring to the song “Tracy” - and i included a mini-cd of the song for all to enjoy (and be annoyed by.. personally i love it :-))I just want to repeat the following that i said on the first set of pages about my fellow CJ artists:If i can just say here that each of these journals was amazing. The work of their owner was remarkable - some have posted their cj's and some haven't… take time to look at them if you can. They are just amazing and i feel quite honored to be in their company and having been allowed to make entries in each of their journals. Such amazing artists you are! Thanks for letting me play :-)
