This month's Fall theme layout centers around one of my favorite Fall photos. I enlarge my favorite photos and hang them on a pin board in my scrap area. I've been looking at this picture for months and I still smile every time I see those silly little pumpkin heads. To highlight the photo, I kept the layout simple and colorful. While I did not go with a traditional autumn palette, the feel of the page still relays fall. The addition of the 3x4 wood title card, the dark woodgrain paper and the intricate leaf all lend themselves to the theme. While the bright pops of aqua and orange-red balance out the bold photo. A simple row of stitch chipboard arrows underlines the photo. I added a the word ‘silly’ in orange letter stickers right on the photo to draw attention to the subject without distracting from the focal point. The triangle corner on the upper left side frames out the picture and adds some weight to the design. I finished it off with a few enamel dots, some stamping on the polaroid and a date stamp.
