<p>In color theory, two colors are called <i>complementary</i> if, when mixed in the proper proportion, they produce a neutral color (grey, white, or black).</p><p>I tell my students, &quot;They live across the street from one another on the color wheel.&quot;</p><p>Two such colors are red and green. For this page, I used a background of neutral colors, then added a couple little dabs of the complementary colors red and green. I pulled out my teeny circle alpha stamps–I forgot how much I love these little stamps!
