<p>I wanted something new on my mantle, I had an empty white frame, so I created this paper pieced flower picture. I love that it basically cost nothing to make! (This is a great way to use up scraps!) I find framing something automatically elevates it to a new level artistically. Sometimes when you take something that's ‘okay’ and frame it,&nbsp;it becomes&nbsp;'wow'.</p><p>I didn't really have a plan, just kind of moved things around and choose colors I liked, and ended up with this arrangement. Each piece I cut out was inked on the edges before putting it together.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><b>Supplies:</b></p><p>patterned paper (Creative Imaginations, K &amp; Co., K I Memories, Doodlebug Designs, BasicGrey, Sandylion, Little Yellow Bicycle)</p><p>cardstock (Bazzill)</p><p>ink (Hero Arts)</p>
