Sequins---I love having these little specks of sparkle nearby when I'm working on my projects. They are often just the thing I need to finish off a page or card--adding a final artistic twinkle to my work. Sequins come in all sizes, shapes, and colors--just look at the variety available here at Two Peas! I'd like to give you a few examples of ways you can use these shiney happy embellishments on your pages and projects.Supplies:cardstockpatterned paperassorted rub-onsghost shapeletter stickersstampsinkSEQUINSDirections:**{page 1} shows the various sequins I used for these projects
**{page 2} Use your sequin stash to sparkle up a Ghost or chipboard shape. Glue flower sequins to a Heidi Swapp flower ghost shape, covering the entire shape. Attach to a background. Apply a little line of rub-ons for a stem. Attach a leaf button. Print out message and attach. Stitch around entire card.**{page 3} Use sequins as a border. Begin with a 5x5 piece of patterned paper. Apply photo, letter stickers and rub-ons. Use a dab of glue to attach the heart sequins, then stitch a line through them on the machine. Attach page to 5x5 piece of chipboard. Ink edges.**{page 4} Use sequins as photo corners. Attach white and kraft cardstock mats to background patterned paper. Adhere photo. Apply letter stickers and rub-ons for title. Trim heart out of patterned paper and attach. Finally, arrange sequins as photo corners, then glue them down.**{page 5} Use sequins to embellish patterned paper. This American Crafts patterned paper is perfect for adhering little circular sequins inside of the little designs--look through your stash--you'll be surprised how many patterned papers you could embellish! Cut three strips of coordinating patterned papers. Attach to front of card. Glue sequins onto patterned paper. Stamp phrase and stitch to front of card.**{page 6} Use geometric sequin shapes to add interest to your page. Cut several strips of patterned paper. Layer along bottom to create border. Apply tiny letter stickers. Attach photo. Stamp squares, then glue sequins inside squares.

A few other ideas:'sprinkle' them on a pagehandstitch them to your page-like you would if sewing them to fabricapply them to a photospell a word or make an initial with sequinsGet out your little packages of sparkly fun and start embellishing your pages and projects! I can't wait to see how YOU use sequins! :)
