Journaling: For as long as I can remember, you have loved playing with sticks. You pick them up wherever we go and use them to dig holes and poke in dirt, in trees, and under rocks. You've also begun to enjoy “play fighting” with them. Just yesterday you gave Simone a thin branch from a plant so that you could play fight. She was happy to oblige but I quickly found a more peaceful activity for you two. I'm so happy that you are still enjoying the simple things in life. I guess I can put up with stopping to pick up sticks and rocks every time we go somewhere for a few more years.
