Just a photo of my dd that I love. Journaling reads: It's official. Your Daddy and I are smitten with you, Simone. You've always been such a sweet spot in our hearts, but as you've been growing up and showing us your personality, we are falling in love with you all over again. I couldn't count the number of times I catch your Daddy watching you with a huge smile on his face and I'm sure he'd say the same of me. Look at that beautiful face with those big brown eyes, how could we not be smitten? Your presence in this family has had a profound impact on us all. Jalen has a little sister, an ever-present playmate, a friend for always. Mommy has her daughter, someone to “girl-talk” with, giggle with, and go back to her own childhood with. And Daddy has his little girl, his princess, a daughter to protect and love.
