I love this swim suit of Lily's. This is the one she wore last year…bought her a new one this year and it's a little big and this one still fits. It's so darn cute…love the butterfly on her butt!I had fun recreating the look of the butterfly on my page. I used my Silhouette to cut out the butterfly shape. Then I took the hot pink paper and ran it through my crimper, this way and that way, to break down the fibers and I also wet it to loosen it up like fabric. Then I took it to the sewing machine and sewed large straight seams, then gathered just like you would fabric. Once I had all the pieces gathered I glued them to the edge of the butterfly with Beacons Fabric-Tac. I glittered the body of the butterfly green and gave her some eyes.
