October 7, 1966 The Music Hall, Houston, TexasKNUZ PRESENTS: CHAD AND JEREMY AND FRIENDSStarring: Chad and Jeremy, Ian Whitcomb, The Standells and The MobMick White and I attended this concert together. I don't know why Cheryl didn't go with me, but she and I later saw Chad and Jeremy with the Beach Boys at the Coliseum.The two things that stand out about this concert were: meeting Ian Whitcomb in the lobby prior to the show. Someone had walked up to him and called him “I-an” (with a long “I”) and he politely responded to her “It's Ian, luv” (pronouncing it with a short “I”). After she left with her autograph, I approached him and got him to sign the back of my program.The other thing was when, during the concert, Jeremy spotted me taking pictures and struck a pose just for me.
