B-17 Adventure
August 31, 2006 After Daddy picked John up from daycare, the two of them dashed out to the airport to see a visiting B-17 bomber, a World War II Aircraft. The watched commercial flights taking off and landing and he got to go on a tour of the B-17. They squeezed through the front crew hatch to look into the nose and cockpit, they crawled through the bomb bay, and Daddy held John up so he could look through the upper turret. When John got home, he was happy and excited and told Mommy, "Airpwaino!" Blue and yellow papers from Wild Blue Yonder, white paper from Delicate Blossoms, color altered, black alpha is Black Rub-On Alpha, size reduced, red alpha is Red Rub-On Alpha, brads (size reduced, some flipped/rotated) from the Primary Chipped color group of Elemetals, all by by Christy Sturm, Butternug Squash Designs. Font is SylfaenARM. Unfortunately, we have no photos of our own, but this IS the right plane! I Googled images of the name and type of plane and found all 3 photos at http://www.air-and-space.com/20050506%20Fox.htm.
