I made this 5x7 card from a kit Seema sent me for the 2peas, January Kit in an Envelope Swap (KIAE).We are to use 3 items from the kit.I used :1. Stamped image2. punched leaves3. die cut flower (I dyed with Peacock distress ink, spritzed and crumpled)Thank you Seema for all of the goodies. Sorry the picture is a little dark, if you have a better one please upload.I also used the Bandana Technique for Marshia's challenge on the stamping forum. Bandana : 3 purple onion designs paisley stamps, stamped on red cardstock with Ranger Black ink and doodled with a white Gelly Roll pen.KIAE: There were 2 stamped bear images in the kit. I used a Sizzix pocket die to cut one out. I stamped the tree trunk on the pocket, and inked the edges of the pocket with Faded Denim distress ink. I used prismacolor pencils to color the image, draw in some grass at the base of the tree and color the ground. I blended with a Finesse colored Pencil blender pen. The pockets on Mr. Bear's overalls are paper pieced from the bandana print. The pocket is mounted with SU dimensionals. I added leaves to the tree, some glued, some given dimension. The flower is from the kit and the center is a SU Candy Dot. I put a square of bandana print on the inside because I just couldn't waste any after all that doodling!Thank you Looser and Caribbean Girl for hosting the KIAE swap! It's been lots of fun!TFL!
