Thank you Jan for this fun challenge, and especially for not requiring a finished project just yet! Making backgrounds is like eating peanuts. You can't make just one!I really like your white on kraft sample so I had to give it a try myself. The first two samples were inked with Versamark on opposite sides of the folder, then embossed with white EP. I think it's cool how either side works! In both samples it's the debossed portion that is heat embossed and the raised portion is plain kraft.I love my 3rd sample! I think it's my fave! I pressed distress ink on a craft mat, misted with water and drew the watercolor paper through it, then patted it in any leftover spots of ink. I embossed it with Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes. Next I ran a brayer over it with Tsukineko Delicata ink in Golden Glitz. Love that ink!My fourth sample was made the same way as the last. Swiped watercolor paper through misted distress inks. I embossed it with a SU embossing folder and brayered with Delicata Golden Glitz ink.TFL! These will give me something to play with this week for Hangover!
