Another try at a batik look. This one is much brighter. Instead of going over with a black wash, I colored the tulips with the same red, dandelion, yellow green and green as the last card, then completely colored over the tulips and stamped outlines with black crayon. Next I scraped away the black crayon to reveal the colors underneath. Lots of fun! Just like grade school! The background was created by taking color off a watercolor crayon with a wet brush and then painting.I think this technique could also give a fun wood block print look.TFL again!Glossy card : Mrs. GrossmansStamp : Alias Smith & Rowe lg tulip trioInk : Versafine onyx blackRub on sentiment : Deja ViewSticker grad cap : Frances Meyer
