Thanks for the challenge Daria, I played with water all afternoon! I used Caran d'Ache Neocolor II watercolor crayons to create a background for the stamped girl figure. I pre-wet the watercolor paper and scribbled color on directly with the crayons. Then I went over it with a wet brush to blend. I felt like I wanted more coverage and blending so I added more crayon, and I also took color from the crayons with the brush and painted color on. Once the background dried I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx black and clear embossed. Sorry I trimmed quite a bit of the background away to fit the card, but I think I got the best part. I will edit this post to add a pic of the larger background if I can.Stamp : Lost Coast DesignsWatercolor medium : Caran d'Ache Neocolor II crayonsTape : K & Co. black dots Smash tapeEmbossing folder : Tim Holtz for Sizzix ATC sized raysInk : Colorbox chalk ink (rubbed on embossed rays with my finger, haha! it was available, and it worked!)Sentiment was generated in WORD. The face is open on the stamp and I left it that way picturing the sun pouring straight in to her soul. The stamp also has no arms, perfect as she can't push the sun away. Thanks for looking! Thanks for the challenge Daria, my watercolor crayons were feeling left out!ETA : 2nd pic is watercolored background almost there, 3rd pic shows background after a little more blending and the image stamped.
