Here are my six Christmas cards for the Winter Holiday Cards in July Challenge which replaces Cindi's Christmas All Year! Challenge this month. Since I didn't wait until the last minute this time, there's hope for even more this month. We'll see.
CARDS: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Bazzill cardstock Swarovski Rhinestones, Light Siam, SS16 Sakura Glue Pen (to attach the gems)
DIES: Nellie Snellen's Multi-Frame, MFD 020, Flower Spellbinders Nestabilities, largest circle
FOCAL IMAGE: Hero Arts Wreath with Bells Versafine Onyx Black Ink 96-lb. Vellum Bristol Prismacolor Colored Pencils Zest It (for blending) Jimmy Jen's Powder (a very old glitter my sister gave me) At You Spica glitter pen, black
I added the glitter and dry embossing after die-cutting the image. I wish I had some black glitter. All the Spica pen did was make the dots darker; they aren't glittery. I dry embossed the bell's clapper, and I like the way that turned out.
After many years, I finally replaced my Versafine Onyx Black ink pad. The old one is still working, but it now looks like 2nd generation stamping compared to the new one. (See the top card in the group of six cards.)
PRISMACOLOR COLORS: Ribbon -- 923 Scarlet Lake and 924 Crimson Red Berries -- 924 Crimson Red (but covered later with glitter) Holly Leaves -- 109 Prussian Green and 912 Apple Green (one with 109 and 1096 Kelly Green) Mistletoe Leaves -- 1005 Limepeel and 911 Olive Pine Needles -- 908 Dark Green Bells -- 921 Jade Green, 1089 Muted Turquoise, 1028 Peacock Blue, and 949 Metallic Silver
