These cards were inspired by this card by fishinkitten: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/414224-fishinkitten/1844678-wishing-you-blue-skies-sunshine/. [twopeasinabucket.com] Is that cool or what! I went right out and bought that background stamp.
CARDS: 5 3/4" x 5 1/2" and 5" x 7" Bazzill Cardstock
BACKGROUND: Market Street Stamps (Here Comes the Sun) Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink (Ice Blue) Ranger Clear Superfine Ep (first card only)
FOCAL IMAGE: PSX retired image (G2809) Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock Adirondack Denim Dye Ink
I let the image dry completely before coloring it with markers. Tombow Markers (946, 177, 847, 370, N60) Distress Marker (Barn Red) Copic Marker (B0000; on face)
The first image was my experimental one. The scarf was colored with a variety of items including the Tombow Marker #370, Prismacolor pencil #195, and Distress Marker (Barn Red).
When I heat embossed the first card, it didn't emboss evenly. I cut off the part I burned on one corner. I actually like that size better than the larger card. Next time.
The embellishments are Adhesive Rhinestones from Recollections.
