White Cardstock – Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
Other Cardstock – Bazzill
Die cuts by Nestabilities

FOCAL IMAGE
A Muse Artstamps (Two Daisies)
Stamped with Peeled Paint Distress Ink
Colored with Tombow Markers (068, 061) and blender pen
Scalloped die cut shaded with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink
The string used on the Spirelli (String Art) was dyed with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and spritzed with water. I used paper toweling to remove excess ink and dried it with a heat tool.

BACKGROUND IMAGE
White Negative Technique from Pat Huntoon's Technique Junkies Newsletter, Feb/Mar 2011

1. Rubber Stampede “Signature Design” stamped with Color Box White Pigment Ink and heat embossed with Ranger's Clear Superfine Embossing Powder (Note that the leaves you see were not inked and embossed. For this technique, you need a stamp that has a negative image; the background is what is inked.)

2. Shabby Shutters Distress Ink applied to unembossed areas with finger daubers; excess removed with a soft cloth

3. Purple Onion Designs script stamped with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and briefly heat set before using a soft cloth to remove the ink from the embossed area. The residue of the ink tinted the white embossed area.

I like this technique. I saw some samples that used an image that had less embossing and more design, and I think I like that better. It allows more of the script stamp to show.
