Finally, I have something to share. I can see that I need to re-scan the second and third cards. IRL, the right and left sides of the second card are equal; here it looks like the left side is much narrower. The third card doesn't have that white area that shows up at the top of the scan. How do these things happen? The regular paper held up, but I had to weight it down to flatten it. Also, I should have used a bit more Crackle Paint so that the cracks would have been a bit more noticeable.After the Crackle Paint had dried and the frames had been weighted down, I used an Tim Holtz ink applicator to apply the distress inks (Pine Needles on the pewter frame and Black Soot on the mahogany frames).I used the Magic Color Pencil Technique to color the Santas except I used the non-toxic Zest It instead of odorless mineral spirits. I am enjoying using color pencils.TFL. Daria
