OK. So I got carried away. I fell in love with this image when I bought it to give away during one of our events. I finally found one for me!

Stamp--Stampendous Ranunculus Field
The cards are between 4 3/4" x 6" and 5 1/4" x 6 1/4".
Hemp Twine is from Stampin' Up.
The ribbon is a RAK from Nora. Thank you!

CARD 1
Burnished Background Technique
Adirondack Dye Inks--Willow, Citrus, Lettuce (applied with a TH ink applicator)
Highlights--Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen

CARDS 2-4
Direct-to-Rubber Technique
Tombow Markers--025, 837, 845 (flowers); 177, 098 (leaves)
140-lb. hot-press watercolor paper
Card 2--I misted the air and waved the inked image through the mist a few times before stamping. Then I used the heat tool to dry the ink before it wicked into the paper too much.
Card 3--I just huffed on the inked image before stamping.
Card 4--I huffed on this one too; then I used a paint brush dipped into water and blotted on a paper towel to distribute the ink over the flowers and leaves.

CARDS 5-8
Twinkling H2O's
Bazzill cardstock & Judikins Black Glossy cardstock
Shimmer Copper cardstock used for mat on Cards 5 and 6
Bazzil Gold Leaf cardstock used for mat on Card 8

Cards 5-7 were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with Ranger's Clear Super Fine EP. Card 8 was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Stampa Rosa Filigree Detail EP, Pure Gold.

BedsandBorders posted a thread about stamping on black cardstock and posted some gorgeous cards she made using TH2O's on black cardstock. I had to try it.

Card 5--TH2O's on black cardstock. I mixed some iridescent colors with regular colors for some of these. Then I discovered that many of the colors didn't need mixing at all to show up on black. Just experiment. The Lemongrass I had chosen to make a yellow flower turned out to be a bright Kiwi Green when painted on black. Very cool!

On Cards 6 and 8, I stamped and painted on smooth white cardstock; on Card 7, I used 140-lb. hot-press watercolor paper.

CARD 9
Embossed Resist with Brilliance Inks Technique
I stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with Ranger's Black Superfine EP. Then I rubbed Brilliance Rocket Red Gold and Crimson Copper inks directly over the entire card. I wiped it with a soft cloth.

The butterfly was given to me at a metal workshop I went to at Stamp It Rich in Placerville. The instructor had stamped the Hero Arts image on copper metal. I embossed it and heated it with a candle to make the colors change.

CARD 10
Metal Leafing
I stamped with VersaMark, sprinkled Sticky Powder from Biblical Impressions on the image, and heated it. Then I piled on scraps of Red Variegated Metal Leaf, burnished it with a stencil brush to make it stick and to remove the excess. I brushed a bit too much, and some of the shine went away so I had to stop before I was able to remove all the excess metal leaf. I'm not too happy with this one. I used black glossy cardstock and copper shimmer cardstock.

Thank you, Julie, for the challenge. Thank you, BedsandBorders for the idea of using TH2O's on black cardstock.
