All focal images on 140-lb. cold-press watercolor paper

Cards 1-3:
6“ x 5”
Bazzill card
HOTP metallic paper matting
Dreamweaver Pinecones Stencil
Dreamweaver Regular Embossing Paste
Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink
Distress Ink
Judikins Prisma Glitter (I only used a little bit, and it doesn't show up here.)

I made this image last year by stenciling with Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink and putting translucent embossing paste over that. I loved it, but this year I wanted it to have a matte finish. I have used regular embossing paste over other inks and loved the look. However, it didn't work with the CBFC inks. They hardly showed through the regular paste; they were almost a grayish color. One friend liked the look; I did not. I decided to stencil on top of the paste with the CBFC ink and that worked great. I think I used Distress inks on the pine needles.

Card #4
4 1/4“ x 5 1/2”
Dreamweaver Zig Zag Xmas Tree
Dreamweaver Translucent Embossing Paste
Bazzill card and mat
Kaleidacolor Ink – greens and yellows
Distress Ink – Aged Mahogany and Fired Brick
Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink –Creamy Brown
Judikins Prisma Glitter

I stenciled this one first with the inks and then used translucent embossing paste and glitter on top. It doesn't show up here, but the translucent paste is very glossy.

TFL.
