The only stamping on these cards will be on the inside.
These cards are so easy to make. I just applied regular embossing paste through the metal stencils onto watercolor paper. (Note: If I had used black embossing paste, the colors would be more vibrant. Glossy paste would also give a different look.) When it was completely dry, I put the cleaned stencil back onto the design and used a dauber to sponge glue from the glue pad onto the embossed design. With the stencil still in place, I used a stippling brush to apply mica powders onto the design. I used Perfect Pearls on the first card and Pearl Ex on the second card. I wanted to see if the Pearl Ex would be set by the glue. It was; it did not come off. Then I removed the stencils and used a soft brush to brush away excess mica powder.
I made that gold paper on the first card when I was trying not to waste the paint left on the craft sheet after doing one of Jennifer's Holiday Thinking Inking projects. It's really pretty.
