Magenta Stamp Cardstock: Bazzill Confetti (colors), Stampin' Up! or watercolor paper (white), and Stampin' Up (black)
I stamped the image either with Versafine or Brilliance. Versafine gave better detail; Brilliance gave a darker image.
I heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder before painting them with Twinkling H2O's. That really paid off when I started to paint. The raised embossing helped keep the paint confined, and the embossing resisted the paint so the black stayed black.
I used Crystal Stickles on the dots; I was trying to avoid using too many colors. It was fun to use the Stickles. I prefer the cards that have just one color ornament--either plum or white.
I wish you could see these colors in real life. They shimmer, but next to the shiny black embossing, they appear quite subtle.
I was very careful, but I still managed to put one image on a card upside down. Thank goodness for Un-du!
