This challenge is almost over–one more week to go. Jan, I'm so grateful that you brought back Thinking Inking. I feel much more comfortable using the techniques Jennifer taught us after going through them a second time. There is so much information in those videos; I find something new every time I watch them.TAGSI stamped a Hero Arts background stamp on light green Stampin' Up! cardstock with VersaMark ink. I brushed Patina Green Perfect Pearls onto the image for a tone-on-tone effect. I set the PP by waving it through a mist of water. I wish you could see how pretty this turned out IRL. Tip: I found that brushing away the excess Perfect Pearls wasn't enough. The next day, PP was still coming off when I touched it. I used a soft cloth to wipe the entire piece, and that took care of the problem. I used Recollections Paper Flowers. I painted them with a solution of lots of misted water, a small amount of Perfect Pearl Perfect Pearls and an even smaller amount of Perfect Gold Perfect Pearls. I flicked a bit of the gold PP onto the flowers and brushed that in. They took a long time to dry even with the help of a heat gun. I added some definition to the flowers with the ball end of a ball & cup tool from Ten Seconds Studio. I attached the flowers with Glue Dots (three on the bottom layer to add dimension). Warning: You can't just pull the paper flower away from the paper that holds the glue dots on the roll; the flowers will come away without the Glue Dot and leave some paper behind. You have to pry the flower off by lifting the dot, not the flower. After attaching the flowers, I used the handle of a paint brush make the petals curve which added some dimension.I added Robin's Nest Dew Drops (Plumeria) with Crafter's Pick: The Ultimate Glue.PICTURES 3 & 4I had a lot of fun experimenting with different images and different colors of Perfect Pearls. I stamped a Rubbernecker bamboo background image on SU black and khaki cardstocks. The first one has Patina Green PP, and the last two have Heirloom Gold PP.The last picture shows a Hero Arts flourish background with Patina Green and Patina Blue on a dark green cardstock. I also added the brighter Forever Green PP, but I think I had already covered up the VersaMark, and it doesn't show up. I think. On the blue and blue-violet cardstocks, I used a Penny Black background image with Forever Blue PP.TFL. Daria
