Avery Shipping Labels, 4 3/4“x 2 3/8” Distress Inks –Bundled Sage, Forest Moss, Pine Needles Tim Holtz Blending Tool used to apply ink I shook a wet brush over the inked tags and dried them with a heat tool.
Magenta stamp Direct to Rubber with Distress Inks –Wild Honey, Forest Moss I tried several techniques with the flowers (spritzed the image after stamping, spritzed the rubber before stamping, heat embossed with Distress EP). All of those looked very much the same. Finally, I heat embossed with Ranger's Superfine Clear EP, and that's what I used on these tags. I embossed twice, adding EP to the hot image immediately after the first embossing. I didn't even wait to turn off the heat tool, just pointed it in a different direction.
I liked this image so much I made a card with them. The card is 5 1/8“ x 3 15/16” The ivory cs is Stampin' Up, and the rest is Bazzill.
The other tags I tried:
Distress Inks – Pine Needle, Bundled Sage, Forest Moss Faux Watercolor – Ink swiped on craft mat, spritzed with water; tag pressed into ink I accidentally used a spritzer that still had white Perfect Pearls in in even though I had emptied it out. I thought it was plain water. Anyway, these have a sheen to them.
Distress Inks – Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge, Walnut Stain Water Splotching – Inks applied with Tim Holtz Blending Tool, and flicked with water from a wet brush
