Here are the other four cards I mentioned in the last post. I've been wanting to try out the metal leafing ever since I saw Deborah's (Gram-pea's) fabulous cards. You should have seen Nora and me trying to do this for the first time. We had instructions for heating the glue, but we had a glue pad that didn't require heat. In our excitement, we started the process before reading all of the directions. I have seen people use metal leafing and have tons left over to save for another time. Not us. We had tiny shavings and dust left. We saved it anyway.
Cold-Press watercolor paper and mostly Bazzill cardstock Dreamweaver Stencils and Embossing Paste
4th card--5“ x 6 1/4” Bazzill cs (Black OP and Gold Leaf) Matte Black Embossing Paste I might add a stamped sentiment at the bottom of the card.
5th Picture (altered Card #4): I've added another card. It's actually Card #4; I added Superior Variegated Black Metal Leaf to the image. The card looked so dull without it–even more so IRL than here in the gallery. Since the original embossing paste was matte, the metal leafing isn't as shiny as it is over glossy or metallic pastes. I like the rougher texture.
