Nora and I got together to practice what we'd learned at Georgia Sommers' workshop. We had so much fun making card fronts. I've put eight cards together. Four of them are here. The only stamping on these cards will be on the inside.

4 1/4“ x 5 1/2”
Watercolor paper and Bazzill cardstock
Stencils–The first three were Nora's (The first one is by Dreamweaver; the second one is by Darice; the third one is by Lasting Impressions.) The last one is by T.S.C. Designs.
Dreamweaver Translucent Embossing Paste
Different inks, mostly from Kaleidacolor ink pads, applied with stenciling brushes using a circular motion (rouging technique); stippling technique used on the fence in the first card
I used the Scor-it to deboss a line all around the card. OK. I meant to emboss it, but I used the wrong side of the cardstock so now it's debossed. You can see it better IRL. Note: Once I saw the gallery post, I noticed how crooked my image was so I re-did this card. Now the border is embossed the way I had originally planned to do it. I hope the image is straight now too.

Sizzix embossing folder (Floral Flourishes) on last card
Swarovski flatback crystals on last card (SS12, Olivine) attached with Sakura Quickie Glue Pen

Note: I wanted a subdued background for the daisy card, but the Sizzix embossing folder made very a very deep impression. In fact, it cut through the cardstock at the edges. I embossed another piece putting some paper between the cardstock and the positive side of the folder. That took care of the cutting problem, but the embossing is still deeper than I would have liked. I wish the cardstock had had a white core so I could have sanded the raised design. Then I would have flatted the embossing and still have had the design.
