ETA: I tried this technique again, and was much more successful. You can read check it out here: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/108705-djc/1599971-wf10-spray-it-challenge-tried-again/?c=t [twopeasinabucket.com]". I remade this card. The challenge was to use spray in a different way. Well, I've sprayed lots of spray, but I've never stamped with it. I thought about Jennifer McGuire's Thinking Inking Class where she inked up her stamp with an embossing ink, spritzed it with water, and used it to stamp over a surface that had been inked with Distress Ink. The result was magical. I wondered if VersaMark would help a stamp to hold onto the spray ink long enough to stamp with it.My first experiment was to spray Adirondack Colorwash (lettuce and pesto) onto a craftsheet. I inked the stamp up with VersaMark and dipped it into the ink on the craft mat. You can see the resulting blob at the top of the second scan.Next I sprayed the ink on some paper toweling and used that like an ink pad. That's the second picture–much too light. I did the same thing with the walnut ink spray, resulting in the bottom picture.I wondered if it would make any difference if I used glossy cardstock. It did, and that's what you see on the card. It's still much too light, and I would not do this again. In fact, I'll probably stamp a new image to put over the one you see here. I'll use regular ink and emboss it.Tami, thank you for the challenge. It was fun experimenting with this. I got so involved with it that I totally forgot to pick up a friend to go exercise class!TFL.
