After seeing Jennifer's video for Week 2, I got busy with her Multi-Color Emboss & Ink Background Technique. This is a wonderful way to do Joseph's Coat without the brayer, glossy cardstock, or black ink! The first card uses the technique with focal image; the second card uses a bg stamp from HA. Background Stamping is the focus of Nichol's Week 4 Stamp Camp Class.

1st Card – 5“ x 6”
Bazzill cs–Mexican Poppy, Holly, and ???
The Quail Family image is by Comotion.

I applied Scattered Straw, Broken China, and Peeled Paint Distress Inks on SU Vanilla ultra-smooth cs for the background colors. I stamped the image with VersaMark and heat embossed it with clear EP. I applied Pine Needles Distress Ink over entire piece and used a damp rag to wipe off excess. Then I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and again wiped off the excess with a damp cloth.

2nd Card - 4 1/4“ x 5 1/2”
Bazzill cs – Dark Tangerine & Holly
Background–Broken China, Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold on SU vanilla ultra-smooth cs
HA floral image stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear EP
Pine Needles and Vintage Photo Distress Inks used as described above for 1st Card The gems are Swarovski flatback crystals, SS16, Topaz.

Jennifer and Nichol, thank you for the classes in background stamping. I had fun with these. TFL. Daria
